The mother and daughter live in a world where a few female sheep have horns, but they must hide their horns to survive. This forces them to face the same difficulties, and these shared difficulties make them see themselves in each other even more.

A girl born into a family of shadow puppetry artists strives to become as outstanding
as her mother and predecessors, constantly working to perfect her own shadow
puppets. Her introverted personality makes her even more obsessed with
excellence, until she ultimately becomes trapped in her pursuit, unable to turn back
